Spliced Inc. Launch
Art Direction by Adam Cutts for Territory Studios. Crafting a Brand Identity, Concept Film & Launch Campaign
Spliced Inc. - a new gaming studio - needed a strong identity and launch campaign to cut through in a competitive market and deliver on the embodiment of their brand culture.
Art Director, Adam Cutts, was engaged by the awesome team at Territory Studios to lead a world-class team on this open brief. Alongside the genius minds at Spliced Inc, a narrative driver was constructed; a loading bar transporting us through a brief history of the last 30 years of technological advancements in gaming, web and digital culture that precede them, to introduce the next generation of disruptors.
The result is this epic sequence - a visual feast which hurtles us through space and time. With parallels to Spliced Inc’s own evolution and culminating in the arrival of their all-new brand reveal, a world was designed to get people talking; loaded with hundreds of Easter eggs, retro references, coded messages and nods to some of the most iconic moments in popular tech culture.
Digital & Social Assets
To accompany the launch film a suite of attention-grabbing, social specific content was designed; carving out key moments from the film and developing looping sequences that immerse the viewer in the created world. Specifically designed to create a talking point within the gaming community; building organic engagement and climate of anticipation, Adam and the design team at Territory Studios buried even more easter eggs amongst these social assets. The hero still embodies the full launch concept in a single image - elegant, intriguing and full of secrets to be discovered.
